Happy Spring!

I love this time of year! For me it is a time to de-clutter, organize, and clean! This morning I decided to move things around a bit, while adding some new things to my shop that I found while out and about at some thrift stores yesterday, and I figured why not share a picture while I was at it.

I picked up these pretty light green carnations at the grocery store yesterday also, and decided to put them in an old French canning jar I had, they will make due until my own flower garden is in bloom! :)

  1. Love the simplicity. Happy spring!

  2. Hi,
I just found your wonderful blog. I really like your style. Tried to post a comment on the most recent post but could not for some reason. After living in Enumclaw WA, not far from you for the past 15 years I can tell you it does rain most of the time, or drizzles daily where you go months with zero sun. I fell in love with WA because I visited in June one year and then bought a house in the country. I suffered with SAD-Seasonal affective disorder for the next 15 years. And the prices of homes and property taxes are INSANE. I noticed you are considering moving to the East. Being from CA bay area and most recently WA, I up and relocated to NC a few months ago. The best thing I have ever done in my life. You would not believe how nice the people are in the South compared to the west coast. Have you experienced the "Seattle Freeze" ? Sorry girls.. I know there are some nice folks here and there in WA but not like you will experience in other states. Also, what you get for your money compared to WA will blow you away. I just purchased a small 100 yr old farmhouse and the yearly taxes are about the same as my monthly utility bill in WA. If you have the opportunity to move do so, as you will learn that the hot July this past summer was rare and the years of rain and zero sunshine for months at a time may get to you over time. Once you buy you are sort of locked in.

Anyway- I am really enjoying your blog and wish you the very best.

    1. Hi Tonita! Thank you for your insight on the East coast! I actually had my husband read your comment as well and we really appreciate you taking the time to respond. We are leaning more and more on moving that direction here eventually. So exciting! Thanks again and thanks for following :)
